Summary: We had an amazing stay even if it was just for the night. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, we were able to check in early. We asked for dinner recommendations and were given several. Centrally located in el Viejo San Juan definitely recommend staying here as we will again in the future.

Summary: There we no food options at the hotel but there are lots of restaurants around the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Summary: El Colonial was wonderful! I gave them 5 stars regardless of the water situation I experienced during my stay. I loved the open bar, my room and its view!! The staff was friendly! I'll definitely stay again!!

Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great for Old San Juan and the staff was friendly and helpful. There are no elevators but we did not mind. The open bar was great as well.

Summary: The hotel was clean in good location and friendly staff. The open bar is excellent. The only issue we have is the instability of water pressure depending on the time of the day. There was a day and half that there was no water at all that we have to buy gallons of water from the stores to bath and flush toilets. We were told it is problem with city water that they have no control over. Nevertheless it makes our stay thoses days to be very uncomfortable.
